Users can utilize barcode scanning or keyword searches to find books efficiently. The checkout process is streamlined through an interactive map, allowing customers to select convenience stores in Taiwan for easy payment and pickup, eliminating the need for credit cards or bank transfers.

In partnership with Taaze Reading Life, OBOOK provides readers with access to discounted prices, enhancing the value of their purchases. The store's system ensures that payment is made only at the point of pickup, providing peace of mind regarding personal data security.

With access to over ten thousand titles, the platform offers a preview function that enables users to read excerpts before committing to a purchase. Currently, the service supports payment and pickup exclusively at convenience stores such as OK Mart, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven within Taiwan. Orders under NT$350 incur an additional NT$20 handling fee, with a maximum order limit of NT$10,000.

Future developments include the addition of second-hand books, expanded preview options, and e-book services. Please note that international shipping is not supported at this time; the service is limited to Taiwan's convenience stores, with plans to introduce worldwide delivery in future updates.
